KEEP ON KEEPING ON

Hello Friends,
God loves you, and He wants you to thrive in this life and the next. As Christians we should have a desire to care for ourselves as much as God does. We also need to believe in ourselves. To do this; we need to do things to boost our confidence. Today I am going to give you a few tips on how to boost your confidence and how to start believing in yourself.

Bible Reading:  The more we read the Bible, the more we will understand how to live our lives in a healthy, Godly manner. When we do this, we become more of who God would have us be and less of who we once were. Reading the Bible will also teach us about God and about evil; and we will better understand the significance of living for Christ. Romans 15:4 says – “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

Exercise:  I recently began working out four to five days a week. Since I began doing this more consistently, I’ve felt much better about myself and my ability to serve God. See, when we take care of our bodies we will have more energy and more confidence so that we can more effectively serve the creator. Whether it’s walking, jogging, or lifting weights, we should all be doing something physical frequently to help our mind work better, and to boost our confidence. 1 Corinthians 6:20 states – “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

Helping Others:  God encourages every person to help others. When we lift other people up, not only will it help them, but it will also help improve our attitude, and it will help us realize what is truly important in this life. We should always help motivate and inspire others by being a good example for them. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says – “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.”

A lot of people feel down about themselves; maybe it’s from past mistakes that they are holding onto, or maybe they are in a rut because they are lacking a healthy support group. Whatever the reason is, we should never lose confidence in ourselves. God loves you, and He believes in you, and you should do the same by having confidence and by believing in yourself.

In Christ,
Noah Brewster
