Thankfulness

Hello Friends,

How many of you have thanked God today?  There are an innumerable amount of reasons for us to be thankful, but many of us are too distracted by the frivolous things that we have going on to even think to pray. Although this is a mistake that everyone makes, it is something that none of us should forget to do. Positivity is a hard thing to come by these days; we all have so many stressful situations that we are forced to deal with, that we never take the time out of our day to thank God for what goes right.

James 1:17 says – “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Despite all of the evil on this earth, there is still so much good left here, and God is the reason for this. He left the Holy Spirit here to guide us, and to comfort us; what more could we ask for?

We all have something that we would like to change in our life, and although we should be doing everything in our power to fix that, we should still be thankful for what we already have.  So instead of complaining, we need to take a few minutes to thank God for all of the blessings that we are bestowed with on a daily basis.

To Heal a Broken Heart

Hello Friend,
There is a famous saying that says; “Time heals all wounds.” But this isn’t completely accurate. The only thing that heals all wounds, and that helps you cope with whatever you may be going through, is the saving grace of God. God heals all wounds.

Isaiah 41:10 says – “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Nothing can go truly wrong on this earth when we have God with us (In the form of the Holy Spirit). God left us a Bible to read and a spirit to guide us, what more do we need to get through this life until we move onto the next?

As far as a problem that you may be having right now; there is no temptation, no abasement, and no affliction, that the strength of God cannot help you through. When you have a struggle in your life, or when you feel like you are at a halt in your walk with Christ, you should pray and read the Bible. Doing this will help relieve your stress, and it will bring you closer to God.

When you linger in a spiritual rut, it keeps you from having peace. As a Christian, you need to take the proactive steps necessary to remove yourself from the rut you are in. The only one keeping you down is you. God wants you to be happy; He wants you to strive in this life and the next. So choose to live a life for Christ, and the peace of the Lord will sustain you through this life.
