THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS:

Hello friend,

As a Christian, I have a personal desire to help others to grow in their walk with Christ. That being said, a big problem with Christianity today is that many people believe that they can ask for anything, and God will grant it to them. The danger in this is that people will doubt God’s existence when He doesn’t give something to them. Also, when you expect God to give you anything that you want, it takes all the accountability off of yourself. This is very dangerous.  As a Christian brother I would like to help you realize how you can obtain what you want by reading the Bible and by taking action to become who God would have you be.

Philippians 4:6 says – “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” But, just because we are making God aware of what we want, doesn’t mean that He will magically give it to us. As Christians we need to take responsibility for our own actions, and we need to take action to make our life the way that we want it to be. Prayer shouldn’t just be used as a way to vent; it should be used as a way to recognize the change that we desire, so that we can then strive to achieve those goals.

Prayer is key in a Christian’s walk with Christ, but many of us are reactive in our prayer. Our prayers tend to consist of more complaining than anything. Yes, it is good to vent, but we should try our best to abstain from reactive prayer. When you pray, you should make sure that you are trying to achieve those goals yourself. This is proactive prayer.

It is important to grow close to God in prayer, but you can’t learn about Him by praying. That is why it’s very crucial that we read the word of God. To become like God, we need to learn what He is like, and that doesn’t mean going to church to learn about Him. We should be reading the Bible daily. This is a very crucial part of you becoming the strong and disciplined Christian soldier that God wants you to be.

P.s.  In John 14:14 Jesus was talking to the disciples alone when He said – “If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” I do not believe that God magically gives us whatever we pray for. This idea is unbiblical. I also do not believe that God is among us today like he was in the Old Testament. God was with man, and then He left. Jesus walked with man, and then He left. Your Mission

Hello friend,

The mission that God has given us on this planet is to become saved, to change into a better person, and then to bring others to Christ. In Romans 12:2 the Bible says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

As humans we have flesh, and it strives to coerce us into doing things that our spirit would not permit us to do. The more we fill our minds with fleshly garbage like immoral music, movies, and friends, the harder it is for us to say no to the flesh that we have. Romans 8:7 states that, “For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.” God’s love for us is evident by the amount of work that He put into teaching men about the do’s and don’ts of Christianity. We need to take this seriously.

Another big stumbling block for Christians is that we all get distracted from time to time. This is common, but we can’t afford to lose sight of what our ultimate goal should be. We need to spread tracts, witness to those who are unsaved,

and most important of all, we need to grow in God by reading the Bible, and by studying the word with other Christians. Galatians 2:20 says, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Please remember that the mission that God has given you is more important than anything else on the earth. And the gift of salvation is the greatest gift that any man could ever receive.

A Dire Situation

Hello friend,

In this day and age we seem to struggle with being true Christians; we seem to struggle with cleaning our lives up for our own good. God wants to help us, yet we just don’t seem to understand the importance of abstaining from the serious, dangerous, immoral and evil situations that we put ourselves into. We claim to hate evil, but we give into it on a daily basis. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 clearly and bluntly says, “Abstain from all appearance of evil.” I have yet to get to know someone deeply who at least tries to follow this.

I think a lot of people have a true desire to follow God, but we have too many open avenues for sin to be let in, and it stops us from hearing God speaking. When you surround yourself with Sexual films, Violent films, Sexual music, Violent music, these are all evil things that we should be abstaining from. GOD LOVES US. IT IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD! I think we also know too many people that pull us into immoral/fleshly situations. That is why God tells us to KEEP GOOD COMPANY. If someone convinces you to get into a situation where you will be subjected to evil, chances are, they probably aren’t saved.

We all struggle with this as humans, but we must stay strong. I pray that we can all obey God in this, and that we can live a clean and morally upright life.

The Do's and Don'ts of Christianity

Hello friend,

God loves everyone, no matter what they do wrong. However, that doesn’t mean that He will let everyone into Heaven. We are responsible for our own mistakes whether we are Christians or not, and our first priority should be to protect our soul from the filthiness of this world. If we can’t do that, then why should God take us to Heaven?

Today I have some Bible verses that list the do's and don’ts of being a Christian. The Bible says in Galatians 5:22–23 “…The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” If we have accepted Christ into our heart, and if we have the Holy Spirit inside of us, then we should take God’s advice and build the fruits of the spirit. As Christians we should not be easily angered, but instead be kind and loving toward everyone that we know.

If we can’t show true love and forgiveness towards people, then are we really saved? I have been guilty of these types of things in the past; I’ve been easily angered and have shown disrespect towards people, but these things do not define who I am. As Christians we need to let only the good things define us, and we need to leave everything else behind.

The Bible states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “… Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” If we continue to be caught up in these types of sins, then it clearly shows that we have not truly accepted Christ, or else our life would show it. People should look at your life and be able to tell that you are a Christian. If you swear, get tattoos, have pre-marital sex, drink alcohol in public, or hang out with a bad crowd, it will not paint a good picture to people. What if you found out that you could prevent someone from burning in Hell just by being a good example for them? This is possible. We need to be a light to this dark world, and we can become a light by living how God would have us live. God would have it that every man be saved, but not every man would have it that God saves them. This is truly sad. Please think about what I have written, and please come to grips with what we should and shouldn’t do as Christians, as this is the key to making good decisions and protecting ourselves from the ways of the world.

The Power of Music

Hello friend,

Lately I have realized how dangerous the music of this world is. A good beat is all that people seem to care about these days, and this is a very dangerous thing. The main deliverer of music in this country is the radio, and today I am going to point out the many immoral things that adults and children can be subjected to on a daily basis when they listen to the world’s music. I decided to listen to the radio for a few minutes and now I will share with you the many evil things that I have heard.

The pop station:

Song #1 – Partying

Song #2 – Partying, strippers, pre-marital sex, tattoos, alcohol, gambling, swearing etc.

Song #3 – Bad language (including the F-word), pre-marital sex, sexual abuse, etc.

Song #4 – promoting sin, swearing, and pre-marital sex.

Now you can say that this is just the pop station, and I wish that that was true, but the country station is just as dangerous to listen to.

The Country station:

Song #1 – Breakups, revenge, drinking, etc.

Song #2 – Seduction, partying, lust, etc.

Song #3 – Swearing, drinking, and partying

Most people don’t understand the true power of music and the hold that it can have over us. In Ecclesiastes 7:5 it says – “It is better for a man to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools.” Music does nothing for us; it doesn’t help grow us mentally, physically, or spiritually. Music only feeds the flesh with sounds that touch our emotions. In the Bible it clearly states that music should be used as recognition for all that God has done for us. Do songs talking about big butts or having sex do this? No, it will only hinder us from growing in Christ, and quite frankly, it is a waste of time.

In Philippians 4:8 it clearly states “…Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” We need to remember that this music is clearly from Satan, and the Bible says to hate the things of this world, so we need to understand how vital clean entertainment is to our walk with Christ. Could you please challenge yourself to stop listening to the radio and to avoid worldly music all together? It’s not because you have to, it is because God wants you to, because He loves you.

A Dangerous Thing

Hello friend,

Do you struggle with sin? We all do, but many of us don’t just sin, instead we are caught up in a sin. In Proverbs 16:27 it says “… Idle hands are the devil’s workshop.” Yes, it is better boring than bad, but make sure you are keeping yourself busy with spiritual things.

Being that I’m homeschooled, you can imagine that I have gotten pretty bored from time to time. There have been many cases where I would just sit around and do nothing for Christ, and this my friend is a sin. There is a never ending amount of things that we can do for the lord. Here are just a few things we can do, - tithing, reading the Bible, having Bible studies, doing Christian blog posts, shall I go on? We really should be doing these things daily, but it can be difficult to not let the distractions of the world steer our attention away from God.

In Romans 6:23 it says – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” But as I have said many times, does this mean that we should continue in our sin because we are saved? If we do this, it shows that we really didn’t accept Christ. Mathew 5:8 says – “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” When we are caught up in a sin, this shows that we are not pure in heart. So, when the scriptures say “only the pure shall enter Heaven,” we need to understand that if we want eternal life, we cannot be caught up in the sins of this world. Many Christians will hang out with heathens, claiming that they are doing it to save their soul. Let me ask you this, how does being friends with a heathen save their soul? The Bible doesn’t say to be friends with them; it says to be a witness of Christ to them.

What about you? Your soul is important too. And hanging around heathens will dampen your soul. How can we effectively serve God when we hang around these types of people? The things they do are fun, and they often seem harmless, and this is why it can be one of the most dangerous sins. I have struggled with this, and I know firsthand that it weighs on your soul. Please think and pray about what I have said. We need to protect our soul from the influences of this world. The quality of your soul is directly dependent upon the things that you choose to surround yourself with. Please remember to never take God’s mercy and love for granted.

Does God Really Exist?

Hello Friend,

In our day and age most people do not believe in God. They may believe that there is some greater power out there, but they don’t know what it is. This is quite sad, because God really does exist, and the amount of people who know that is minimal.

So why does this matter? How does knowing about God’s existence improve our life?  I have compared the quality of life of a saved man, to that of an unsaved one, and trust me when I say that the difference is substantial. I have seen many people’s lives improve once they accepted Christ and started growing to be more like him. We are what we surround ourselves with, and if we read the Bible, and we stay in prayer, then we can’t go wrong. Knowing this is very crucial to a Christian’s walk in Christ.

The Bible states in Romans 1:20 “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”  People will say that there is no proof of God’s existence, but the proof can be clearly seen just by looking out the window. This beautiful world could not possibly have been created by a “Big Bang” Or whatever the heathens are calling it these days. In 1927 the “Big Bang” theory was introduced, and it wasn’t long after that that God was taken out of the public schools. The public school system used to be a healthier environment, but now it has become one of the main things that have taken this country down.

Without God, there is no structure; there is no purpose in our life. As Christians we need to understand this, and when someone doesn’t believe in God’s existence, it is our job to try to prove to them otherwise. 1 Corinthians 8:6 says “Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.” As a friend in Christ, I would urge you to aid in the cleansing of this devastated earth by spreading God’s word and by spreading proof of His Existence.
